The Traveling Plate goes to another State

I have been putting off this post because I knew once it was published my lovely lil plate would be moving on. It's like loosing my best friend or my right arm...

Cheryl The Daily Blond sent me her plate that was featured in her daily breakfast posts-I promised to use the plate then send it on *tears* I'm gonna miss that plate we had such good times together, take the example below:

Ahhh the memories-we watched Fox news and shared some skittles and Bud light with lime
Then had a quiet moment where we reflected on the day ahead while sharing some pizza
One morning I just couldn't make up my mind what i wanted and the plate was there for me
Then there was the day we shared our love of the mac n cheese variety
We shared a very special last meal together
So my time with the plate is up and it now will go to a new home for awhile-will it be your Home? Leave me a comment and later this week one of the beans will draw a name. Some of you already said you wanted a chance to Host the Traveling plate HERE <~~~~ by clicking that link you can find out how this came to be.

My confession for today: I will miss you lil buddy...

  2. Oh I so want the traveling plate! I can already taste the food I'm going to put on it. And the places we'll go! Such wonderful adventures I have planned for the plate, if only I am picked by the beans to be the lucky recipient.

  4. That was perfect. I cried, I smiled, I laughed and I hoped for you two to find some closure. It was just like watching Titanic.

It should come here next. While it's still warm enough for us to frolick at the ocean with our shoes off. I want to be there for plate to comfort him in his hours of need.

  5. NO!!! Send him my way! In Texas I can take him horseback riding and roping cattle. who am I kidding? I can take him to the mall and shop for me new shoes. Good thing he has no feet.

GREAT post. Way to liquor-up plastic at every meal.

  7. BUT, if it comes to ME, I can give it hot waffles at breakfast, brownies at snack time. What happy days we can share together, just me and the little red plate. . .

  8. My plate!! I miss you, plate!! We had some good times, didn't we? Breakfast has never been the same. The worst thing is I started eating Special K so I could start leaving the lights on at night.....ahem. Since you left I've lost 5 lbs. Could it be love sickness or am I just eating better without you?

Have a good trip and I'm glad you had so much fun with Georgie. She really deserves to get you back at some point.........

  10. I promise I will carry on the tradition and not allow any healthy food near that plate. It really needs to come to the Buckeye State.

But, I'd like the chance to eat off it if giving it up later makes you lose 5 lbs.!
