Today I am sharing a few reasons/things I am Thankful for and a recipe
Family-it's the tie that binds us and I am so Thankful for all of you
Friends-my life would be so empty without you
Freedom-that I have a choice

Hugs N Kisses-they make my world go round
Beans-not the kind you eat but my beans Abby,Reese & Jessica-you drive my batshit crazy BUT you are the reason my heart beats and smiles everyday
mr gp-no other woman could ask for a better husband
Bloggy friends-I have met and made some wonderful bloggy friends these past few months, I hate to be a name dropper but deb my mornings would be INCOMPLETE without you and ymess,amybo I could NOT have made it through sss without your help,jilly you crack me up daily,tiff you have taught me so many new swear words and your love of 'the robster' is unparalled...I know thats just a few of the bloggy friends I have made and I would be here till next Thanksgiving listing you all Just know I am Thankful for each and every one of you...

Here is a fantastic Thanksgiving appetizer-I am pretty sure it is listed on every recipe website but I found it from the Pioneer Woman
Olive Cheese Bread
French bread, green olives, black olives, green onions, butter, real (not
low-fat or fat-free-like helmans) mayonnaise, and Monterey Jack Cheese.
1 regular can whole black (ripe) olives
1 6-oz jar pimiento-stuffed olives
2 green onions
¾ pound grated Monterey Jack cheese
½ cup real mayonnaise
1 stick butter, softened
1 loaf French bread
Chop black and green olives. Slice green onions and give them a once-over with a good sharp knife.
Combine green onions and olives with the softened butter, ½ cup mayonnaise, and
grated Monterey jack cheese. Mix thoroughly. Slice French bread in half lengthwise, then spread
mixture evenly over the halves.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until thoroughly melted and starting to turn light brown
and bubbly. Immediately cut into slices, blow on the yummy goodness-it’ll be hot, then taste the best Olive Cheese Bread you’ve ever had in your life!

My MIL makes this next dip/spread and it is awesome uh huh!
Cream Cheese Spread
3-8oz pkg cream cheese(bring to room temperature)
1 stick butter(I like land’o lakes, again bring to room temp)
cream both together
add:
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pkg Hidden valley ranch dip mix
Mix well and put in a shallow dish. Top with Cracked pepper(if you like pepper use a lot) and allow to chill for at least few hours so the flavors are absorbed(best to make the night before -however if you are snowed in a ski lodge and drinkin zimas-feel free to indulge as soon as it’s made). Serve at room temp with pretzels OR slice a french baguette and toast the slices, then spread over the bread-Oh my gosh it is so yum-yum!

the recipes sound great! quick, easy and yummy. oh, and i am with you... i am SO going to gain 50 lbs. in fact, i am already well under way.

Love your thankful list, and love that people are still passing around the olive bread recipe. When I was in the 8th Grade (what seems like eons ago), my home economics teacher showed us how to make that exact same recipe! You wouldn't think mayo on bread would be good, but it is so yummy. I might just have to make it for old time's sake! Have a great holiday!
