McEwens Asked
What was it like growing up for you?
I grew up on a farm, I made mud pies, played in the haybarn, wrote on walls, worked in the garden...I would say it was a typical happy childhood. We were always surrounded by family-some of my best memories come from spending time on the farm with Ena and Papa.
Was life always good to you?
Life is what you make of it, I have certainly faced some things that were difficult but I would like to think those difficulties have made me the person I am today.
What was your biggest regret?
I honestly don't believe in regrets...well let me take that back...allowing NOT Sawyer to talk me into downsizing from a king to a queen.
What makes you most happy?
Hearing the beans laughter...it's infectious
If money wasn't a concern what would you do?
Travel...
What are your hopes?
I hope that all 3 of the beans grow up to be respectful and gracious adults, I hope to see many generations to come in my family, I hope that Bill doesn't take a 4th wife, I hope to get my king size bed back...
Deb/Postcards from the edge asks...
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop?
Well deb I consulted the experts and the results are in:
oldest bean says 25-of course I think she gave up and bit into it
lilest bean says 124
middle bean says 500
Then I consulted wikipedia
Boy: Mr. Turtle, how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
Mr. Turtle : I've never made it without biting. Ask Mr. Owl.
Boy: Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
Mr. Owl : Let's find out. A One... A.two-HOO...A three..
(crunch sound effect)
Mr. Owl: A Three!
Narrator : How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
(crunch sound effect)
Narrator: The world may never know.
Then deb asked:
Why does a dog love to stick his head out the window of a moving car, but if you blow in his face he will bite yours off?
Deb I really think Aunt Flo can answer this one best
Then bfs ~ "Mimi" asked me:
Do you ever get tired of hearing, "Hey, there, Georgie, girl....there's another Georgie deep inside... " ?
I actually like the term Georgie Girl, my full name is Georgina and I have been called everything from georgie porgie,George,Gina, spider legs(don't ask)...I am finally secure with my name and any songs associated with it.
Julie asked me
Do YOU think I'm funnier than Deb & Jill?
Julie you are the funniest Julie I know...does that work for you?
Tiffany wanted to know this:
What is your favorite scary movie?
Flavor of Love 1,2, 3 and any future ones...oh you mean't movie and Favorite-cuz Flav's got SCARY covered, well let's see, when I was a teenager it was Nightmare on Elm St-mainly because we lived off of Elm St...The Blair Witch really freaked me out and that friggin truck from Jeepers Creepers is the scariest thing I have ever seen well besides the Burger King-King but my two absolute favs are Halloween and while not truly a scary movie Shaun of the Dead is a killer(haha get it killer?) movie.
and I saved the best for last ;-)
wait...
wait for it...

I do a mayo and ketchup mixture for my fries. Especially chikfila waffle fries. Oh shit. What time do they start serving lunch?
I like mayo, too. Fried cheese wrap in spring rolls, dip in mayo with catsup. That is our favorite fun snack. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that my singing ""Hey, there, Georgie, girl...." doesnt make you want to hit me.
ReplyDeleteThe amyo-GROSS. I cant even look at the stuff. I get the willies.
I loved this Q&A. If I did this, I am sure I'd hear krickets chirping. You got some great questions.
OMG - can we be any more alike? I also dip my fries in mayo!
ReplyDeleteK, about the name thing.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I log into your blog my brain see's "Georgiebeana" on the http'er, so to me you'll always be "Georgiebeana" :)
My daughters name is Wendy so middle age people always sing the Windy song to her. She's used to it.
Love the Q&Q.
Is this a weekly thing now?
Do we still have a chance to submit a Q?
I really think this should be a weekly thing.
Nothing like dipping fat into fat and eating it -- I do the exact same thing. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe alt 3 thing isn't as friendly on a MAC, so I guess I'll have to just enjoy your hearts and not make my own.
I love these posts! FUN to read! I love my king and never want to go back to a queen! You are fun! I love reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is nice to know more about you!
ReplyDeleteGood to know someone besides me watches Big Love!! I am a farm girl too and "working in the garden" brought back memories of snapping green beans and getting excited b/c my older siblings would 'let' me pick the okra! UGH....not so excited when I was finished and extremely red and itchy! Oh and my friend also does the fry/mayo combo and to each his own but it kind of grosses me out to watch it ~ tough titties I know!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun reading your answers. ♥And I learned a new trick.♥
ReplyDeleteI'd travel too if money was not an object.
ReplyDeleteI dip my fries in a ketchup mustard mixture that is über yum.
Thanks for giving me some great laughs for the day, very funny sense of humor. Flava Flav, lol as a scary movie. Growing up on a farm sounds kinda fun :)

ReplyDeleteHellmans Mayo is soooo wrong for dipping FF's. Everyone knows you should be dipping them in Ranch Dressing.
ReplyDeleteFrench fries and ketchup and that's it. Mayonnaise should never have been created.
