It was so nice getting to spend time with family these past few days-typically Ima one house girl for Thanksgiving(we have a LARGE family mr gp & I)-I feel obligated to eat everything-I wouldn't wanna hurt anyones feelings-so a few years ago I said I would go to only one family members house and rotate each year-this year I broke my rule and went to three homes and my 'Calvins' will never be the same-
In a few short weeks I will do this all over again and I am pretty sure the WHOLE reason we have New Years Day is so we can over-indulge during the holidays then resolve to

In the SSS news tonight a couple more participants recieved their gifts:
Nessa
Colleen Marie
Wheezer
all got some really nice things from their SSS exchange partners, also I have gotten several emails with DC#'s so a few more of you should be getting packages any day now.
Deb from Postcards from the Edge has gotten a couple gifts, her SSS exchange partner is a sneaky one and VERY creative-I just happen to know who debs partner is and I giggle everyday waiting to see what she comes up with next.
If you have recieved your sss gift and blogged about it BUT I neglected to do a post about it PLEASE let me know so I can share on my blog 'too' or is it 'to' cuz I know it's not 'two' oh heck you know what I mean. Let me know...
If you have recieved your sss gift and have not blogged about it please do so, we all wanna know what ya got and your sss partner is hoping she made you happy.
I hope you all are having as much fun as I am shopping for your partners-don't forget the last day to ship is Dec 10th.
My confession for today: I give a whole new meaning to the phrase 'this is how I roll' now I am gonna go eat a bag of chex mex and watch Elf-Only 33 more days till '09 and I hafta 'resolve'
I only had one Thanksgiving, but I've been at the same house for three days and we had three dinners with lots of guests each night. My cousin who is a brand new out of culinary school cooked up a storm this week and honestly, I've never had food that tasted so good so many days in a row. I was in food heaven.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to see what everyone has gotten. I have just had a blast with this little gift giving event. Thanks again and again for putting the whole thing together.
Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you have had a good holiday season--so have I, which is actually very strange for this family, but I will take it
ReplyDeleteAw, what a great holiday you've had! Nice way to start the season, eh?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have had three Thanksgiving meals! I get too full too fast. And, I don't want to get full. I want to be able to eat until I'm tired!
ReplyDeleteSince my birthday party is tonight I guess it's a good thing I didn't eat three Thanksgiving meals. I'd feel silly hanging out with my pants undone all night! LOL!
I barely survive 1, let alone 3! LOL
