1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Both and sometimes cute lil boxes
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Artificial with pretty white lights and an array of different ornaments
3. When do you put up the tree? take the tree down?
It will go up Sunday and come down Jan 1st
4. Do you like eggnog?
Gag spit yuck nope
5. Favorite gift received as a child?
a huge barbie in pretty shiney white silky dress with silver trim and star ear rings
6. Hardest person to buy for?
MIL-she goes and buys herself whatever she wants-so i try do something unique
7. Do you have a nativity scene?
no but my neighbor has the coolest old world type nativity I admire hers every year
8. Mail or email Christmas cards?
I mail Cards every year I have mine ready to go now
9. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
I honestly don't think i have ever gotten a 'bad' gift
10. Favorite Christmas Movie?
Christmas Vacation and Elf
11. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Today, I try and wait for all the crazies to be done on BF-I did do some shopping on amazon last week that was FUN!
12. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
No
13. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
all the snackey type foods,dips,cheeses etc

yes pretty lil white lights-I ♥ my tree

I love them all but Do you hear what I hear and Jingle Bells if i am picking

We go to A LOT of homes during Christmas-it gets crazy

Dasher,Dancer,Prancer,Vixen,Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.

A big Ribbon if I could do a ♥ I would
19. Open the presents Christmas eve or Christmas day?
We do our gifts in the afternoon of Christmas eve BUT Santa still comes that night too-it's the best of both worlds parent gifts on the Eve and santa gifts on Christmas mornin
20. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
TRAFFIC!!!!
21. Favorite ornament theme or color?
All my home-made ornaments the beans have made me over the years
22. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Prime Rib-hands down

For my daddy to be cancer free

My MIL is difficult for hubby and I to buy for as well. I usually end up making a knitted item for her which is what she will receive this yr again.

Neither! I hate holidays and refuse to decorate. :)

Kids are supposed to have a christmas... crap..calling mom and yelling at her right now!

Well usually I don't buy gifts since I really don't have a family to buy for... but this year the wifes family will be on the list and the hardest to buy for!

I think the most annoying thing for me is the weather- I despise it being HOT during christmas- It is supposed to be cold fireplace

Mt tree went up on November 23. Babygirl1 was here for the weekend and loves to decorate the tree so she put it up with a little help from her Mama;)
ReplyDeleteTree went up the Friday after Thanksgiving, only because my parents were here and wanted to do it with the kids. My SIL has a great tradition of putting it up December 6 (St. Nicholas Day), which we've kind of adopted.
