It's not that I didn't appreciate them, it's just my brain doesn't quite function like everyone elses-
I am VERY forgetful, it's like things run a mile a minute in my head, ANYONE
Complete thoughts fageddaboutit-that's apparent in the ramblings on this blog
I have come up with some reasons why I feel I have the forgetfullness gene which may OR may not be true
1. Someone dropped me on my hayud when I was a baby
2. Too much acid
3. Decisionally Challenged
4. The Beans
5. Linda got the smart genes
6. Flav A Flav-oh who am I kidding the entire VH1 family
7. Being born in the 70's
8. The Brady Bunch
9. Chili Cheese Fritos
10. Ginger(the weenee dog) humpin my leg at 2am
11. I sleep with a 'cover' hog she yes lilest bean gives me a teeny tiny piece of the corner of the blanket
So if you have EVER tagged or given me an award and I neglected to show you some bloggy love please accept my humble apology and take your pick with any one of the reasons above as to why...
My Confession for today: The Confessional Booth will be open tomorrow
I am always forgetting things too... well it's not so much that I forget them, but I just have 3,000,000 things going on in my head at once and some tings just get pushed to the back never to be seen again.
ReplyDeleteSerious ADD, although undiagnosed!
I'm equally guilty. I've gotten like 5 in the past month and have done nothing with them. I'm lucky to get a blog out the door every day as it is! I'll try to get better at this as well...
ReplyDeleteMy dear daughter (17) tells me I have short term memory loss all the time. Now she makes me repeat things back to her in hopes that will make me remember (not so much).
ReplyDeleteI think we all are like that! I dont think anyone is offended!
ReplyDeleteBet you never knew the results the booth would bring in! I think it is great!
I'm the same way right now. My brain is not working at all.
ReplyDeleteI suck too. I keep marking the stars on google reader of the posts that award me and now I have like 20 of them. LOL I'll do a super freaking long post one day to catch up. haha ...maybe
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding.? I forgot what day of the week it was until I heard the garbage truck rumbling down my street. Ugh! I can't remember anything anymore. Maybe I'm getting too old!
ReplyDeleteI keep forgetting to tag you. lol.....
ReplyDeleteI am not good at this either and rarely do it because it's a game, and I stink at games. I did however write a post earlier in the week about this.
Tag. You're It. But you don't have to do anything. How's that?
Just step into the confessional tomorrow to get your penance.
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya on #2.
ReplyDeleteI blame it on acid all the time;)
I blame it on the chickies.
ReplyDeleteI know we have talked about this... You know I suffer from the same issues...But much worse. I can't wait til tomorrow!!!!! I have so much to confess. I am going to go do something bad so I can make it really juicy.
ReplyDeleteI totally do this too. I am horrendous at passing on awards.
ReplyDelete#2 totally made me spit my diet coke out!!
ReplyDeleteEh, what's a girl to do? Sometime life just takes over!
ReplyDeletestick with the chili cheese fritos...
ReplyDeleteHey there, SITSta! Thanks so much for coming by on Tuesday and leaving Seasonal Best Wishes. Those SITS Gals really know how to throw a Holiday Party, don't they? BTW, I've been nominated for a Pretty Neat Blog Award. If you have a chance, please come by my place and vote. Pretty Please?
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I'm right there with ya! I always thank the person with a comment on their blog then keep a running list of awards/memes. When I have time, I work on one LONG post. Then months later, it's finished!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cause you don't care. Your not like me. I care if I hurt someone's feelings, keeps me up at night it does. But not you...nope. Take no prisoners Georgie - that's what I'm gonna start calling you.
ReplyDeleteKidding, kidding. I think it would be awesome if for 2009 we all stopped tagging each other and just BLOGGED.
And hey!! Why did Linda get a link and not me? Wassup widdat??!!
I stopped by from Sitsta's and found someone else who is decisionally challanged. I kind of roam around thinking of things I should do, don't do them and then forget about them. Or I make a list and lose it. Whatever!
ReplyDelete'giggle' ... I am the same way. Short term memory is so much fun.. everthing is always brand new!
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone! HA! It takes me about a month if I'm lucky to get the awards out. ANyway, thank you for visiting me during SITSmas day. Don't be a stranger and come back soon :)
ReplyDeleteJust wait until you start the pre-menopause stage, it get worse!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think most givers/receivers have good intentions - but I too wake up sweating wondering what I have forgotten on some nights.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to give up blogging for my New Year's resolution.
Coming back for the confessional. You swear you can't link back?
Em
P.S. Nair, on your eyebrows - really!?
ReplyDeleteI tend to forget some things, too. Especially awards and things. I'm glad I'm normal.:)
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm returning visits from the FanTAbulous Merry SITSmas Event the other day. Thanks so much for visiting, and please...come by my place to see how to Pay It Forward during this Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
ReplyDeleteIt's a conspiracy...its those darn kids I tell ya!
ReplyDeleteI forget them too Georgie...I am awful about that stuff!
ReplyDeleteGeorgie,
ReplyDeleteI am as forgetful as they come!! Don't worry about it!
You're forgiven! Obviously, you are loved anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteAw, see how much everyone loves ya?! Me included :o)
ReplyDeleteIt is SO hard keeping up with awards, tags, meme, etc...I've pretty much all but given up! Then I feel guilty about not saying anything and I don't want to look snobby for not posting anything--it's a vicious circle...we should have a NO TAGS/AWARDS allowed zone! (Although I like getting them :))
ReplyDeleteI think everyone I know is ailing from this right now!! It's the holidays, we're busy, we're more stressed........so relax, it's all good! =)
ReplyDeleteWhat? I've already forgotten what this was about. I can remember something about pre-menopause. Damn, I forgot.
