My Year In Review

Where has the year gone? Seriously-the older the beans get the quicker time flies. We had a very nice Christmas BUT it's still not over-my moms house is Jan 3rd...

I thought I would take a minute and go for a stroll down 'bloggin lane' and see just what I actually did in 2008

Jan 08' had me learning the ins and outs of wordpress where I started blogging. I had maybe 3 wonderful readers and I had no idea a blogging world exsisted outside of lovely county

Feb 08' we took our anniversary trip to Eureka Springs

Mar 08' I subbed A LOT,oldest & middle bean went to six flags with their father over spring break and I took lilest bean to Eureka Springs for mommy N me time

Apr 08' was a slow blogging month, I made the best Chocolate sheet cake , Daddy gets into Mangosteen aka Xango and middle bean got a day in SAC for racking another bean

May 08' I did not blog one day-musta been the bud light with lime-but according to my June posts I rented a lot of movies

June 08' was a busy month-Daddy is really pushing the mangosteen, I flew to Arizona with the faloozie to help my Uncle Tex pack up his house,my cousins, daddy, ena and Uncle Tommy all went too-while there we re-visited Tombstone. It was Middle beans 13th Bday in June, Oklahoma got a ton of rain that month. We inherited some beautiful furniture from Uncle Tex-This was my fav pic from that trip

July 08' daddy went to OKC to have the cancer/tumor removed from his knee-the entire extended family all went and rented hotel rooms so we could be close to daddy, Our family took a summer vacation to Branson Mo, I got fed up with word press and moved to blogger-Maura from one ping only helped me figure out what a twitter was-I thought it was slang for something else

Aug 08' Daddy started Chemo treatments, school started, fooball started, cheer started,me running EVERYONE here and there started, Deb from postcards taught me some more cool bloggin tricks

Sept 08' Oldest bean got her braces off,mr gp and I went out to listen to a band play, the traveling plate had a wonderful visit with me, the SSS was born, Our beloved lab Pepper went to doggy heaven, lilest bean turned 11,oldest bean got her first REAL boyfriend(it didn't last)she is happy being single,we went to the Tulsa state fair, lilest bean won in the Pryor art show-phew what a month

Oct 08' was Halloween and my holey pumpkin,I started reading TWILIGHT, fall break, middle bean got contacts, we visited the pumpkin patch, middle bean got his first interception, Jill Jill Bo Bill came to town and I met dawn, jen and mel

Nov 08' I was sick this month UGH! Thanksgiving YUM, I elfed the beans, SSS gifts started rolling in, we strted planning our 12th anniversary trip to Eureka Springs, the confessional booth was born,The Love story of Wash and Vera was shared-Oldest bean turned 15

Dec 08' the SSS exchange wrapped,I turned 38, I was 'almost' everyones hero, we got ICE-no school for 3 days, the faloozie turned 37, I participated in Merry SITSmas-my fngers still feel like nubs and I took a lil bloggy vacay...

So here are a few pics to show what we have been up to the past week or so
Christmas Morning-middle bean just looks pissed to have to take a pic with his sisters
The 3 guys in my life middle bean,mr gp and daddy on the farm
My nephew, me with my new hair cut and color, oldest bean, the faloozie
Lastly we shopped for a dress for oldest beans winter formal-I got this BEAUTIFUL dress for $30

My confession for today: Thanks for taking a walk down memory lane with me... I hope everyone has a Happy New Year
