I spent my Saturday with around 300 screaming girls-No I wasn't at a Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana Concert-I was here
The UCA Cheer Competition in BA-My hayud hurts,my eyes are red and puffy and I think I burst an eardrum
My confession for today: I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday
Cute!
ReplyDeleteSo how did they do??? You must have been there to support, how did they do?
ReplyDeletesee if i was in my right mind.woulda mentioned they took 1st place
ReplyDeleteGo, go, go, go! G-O G-O! Congrats to your team.
ReplyDeleteThat's good! It was worth all the cheering and yelling. I bet it was one loud stadium though!! Congratulations to your daughter and her team for getting first place!
ReplyDeletehow precious your little bean looks. oh wait, I guess precious is not how you decribe a teenager. Ok, she looks super cute!

Go Team! Congrats to them. Your bean is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMan! I give it up to you! I don't think I could have done the competition... then again, if I had girls I would... but maybe that's why I don't have girls?? lol!
ReplyDeleteoh- those ARE sooo fun! I was in a few and my sister was in many (we competed in NCA, though)! Glad you enjoyed yourself and hope they showed well!
ReplyDeleteOh wow that place brings back memories!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Way to go, Beaner!
ReplyDelete1st? that's awesome. oh that beautiful bean of yours!
ReplyDeleteOne of my besties coaches highschool cheerleading and I went to the State Competition this year - it was SOOOOO much fun. Seriously, LOVED it! They also got first, which made it even MORE fun!! Yea for your beanie!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I loved those days, she will remember them forever!
ReplyDeleteFun! I hope they did well!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your Sooners..... :-(
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, wtg on them making first place, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHoping you took excedrin with you, it's the only thing that works for a hayud ache.
Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteGawd no. A day with squealing teenage girls? You are a saint in my book.
ReplyDeleteI missed the post about the BCS Championship game. I am a HUGE Alabama fan, but I became a Boomer Sooner fan a few years back when we did the home-and-home series. Our two schools have such similar traditions, not to mention the greatest color ever--CRIMSON! I was pulling of OU, even though Bama is in the SEC. ROLL TIDE and BOOMER SOONER!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun way to spend a Saturday. Hope they did well.
ReplyDeleteWell you left out how they did?
ReplyDeleteI remember those days...only I was a DANCER not a cheerleader! lol! My parents were there every time...poking their eyes and ears out but loving every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteNot quite there with my daughter yet...but I'm sure I will be!
OMG! First!??? I am so excited for her. (I hate those things. I had ringing in my ears for 2 nights. Worse than a VanHalen concert) So glad you got to go support the beanie! Yea A!!!!!! Ready? Okay!
ReplyDeleteYour bean is just beautiful. Tell her I said so. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sad that OU lost as well. It sucked. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Tebow. Can't he just sprout his wings and get over himself aready!?! LOL! Bradford is just as good of a guy. I hate the commentators from the West and East coasts. Blech!
LOVE your pride in outing yourself as pro-cheer! As a former (waaaaaaayyyy former) cheerleader, I have NOTHING but happy memories, and if my she-child (or he-child) wants in, I'm game!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the remnants of the weekend, Sweetness!
Sorry the game didnt go in your favor. But looks like a fun cheer competeion!
ReplyDeleteHi Georgie...when you get a chance come by my blog...I've tagged you for a QUICK & EASY (I promise) fun tag. If you have time to do it that's great, otherwise just let it slide...
