SSS Update & SS Gift Idea

Ladies and Gents it has been a whirl-wind of a week! Amy and I beat our own deadline and now ALL SSS exchange partners names have been sent!

We have asked you to confirm that you received your partners name by replying to the email we sent. Please check your spam folders and all email accounts-some of you initally confirmed with one email and added a different email on your q&a (we used the email you listed on your q&a) 74 of you have already confirmed back via email...that means we are still waiting on a few of you...
We ended up with 104 participants-That is Fantastic! Pairing up 104 people was no easy task-we did our very best and I just hope you all will embrace the name you were given and have fun shopping for them. If you have any questions for your SSS exchange partner please contact us at the SSS email and we will try and help you get some answers.

Now since you all have your names and are ready to shop till you drop. I have another great holiday gift idea to share with you.

I LOVE personalized items-it means my girls can't take 'borrow' everything I own. I also noticed a lot of you enjoy personalized items too...

Let me introduce you to Get Dolled Up Boutique where you can find all kinds of wonderful gift ideas.

From seasonal items, bags and totes, monogrammed gifts, jewelry to stationary Get Dolled Up Boutique can take care of all your personalized gift giving needs.

I got to try one of GDUB's products: The Large Solid Tote

I chose the Chocolate brown with pink lettering and let me say this is the cutest bag I now own-it is great for when I go with my dad to his doctor appointments, I can fit Reese's laptop, magazines,books and our lunches and still have room to put more stuff in. I love polka dots and gingham so with this bag I got the best of both worlds. It is sturdy and high quality and Oh-So-Cute!

This tote is $35 which I know is over the SSS limit BUT if you have a college student or soon to be graduate this would make a great gift idea for them. They would be the most stylish student on campus.

From the site:
Makes a great Diaper Bag, Everday tote, or even big enough for an overnight trip!
Personalization Matches handles, unless otherwise requested.

*Measures 18x14
* Zipper Closure
* Metal Feet on Bottom
* Zippered Rear Pocket
* Gingham Lining
* Detachable Ribbons

I plan on buying this for Abby, she LOVES zebra print

  6. My parents started the same ornament tradition for us when we were kids. Your post just reminded me to call my brother because he still has my half of the ornaments. I think we will start this tradition for our own little one on the way! Thanks for the memories today!

  16. You two did a great job on the SSS. I know it was a lot of hard work.
    What a cute tote bag. It would be great when I go to the library and carrying all my books.
    I collect ornaments too. I forgot to add that on my SSS questionaire. I used to buy Hallmark ornaments for things that happened during the year...a new home, a new baby, etc.
    Have a fun weekend. Is daughter wearing that costume? lol.

  18. We do the same thing with ornaments for our kids. Cool thing - my parents have done it too, so now, my 22 year son has a box of 44 ornaments to take with him when he's married. It's pretty cool. But, our tree is FULL of ornaments right now (4 kids with a total of 136 ornaments, plus the 23 ornaments of mine and my husband - we buy one for us each year as well). It's a fun tree.
