Just Sayin...

Has it been this long since I last posted? I guess my whole Weekend Update is a bust! I can barely be where I need to be at 2:40 when school is out...just sayin...

It has been a whirlwind around here...

Abby has the sweetest boyfriend ever! I know that doesn't define her...she made it for senior year varsity cheer, she JUST wrecked her car,she got a promotion at work, she talks back 40% of the time and she steals my mascara...just sayin...

Reese well he is 6'1 and ummm  I'm not... I need written permission to mention him/his name on this here blog...srsly! I think he is a member of the show MOB WIVES...just sayin...

Moving on...

Jessica my sweet lil pretty princess,my baby-the child I almost lost...who hates me...I can do nothing right! She is 13...just sayin...

Are there ANY mom/dad/ parents/bloggers/readers out there that have a teen or two?

Can anyone relate?

My confession for today: I ♥love♥ my kiddos but I'm at a definite handicap...

  3. Thank goodness mine is 24 and still doing the college thing. And no sorry I don't relate. Was blessed with a daughter who has always been by my side. I know many who rebel....just was one of the few lucky ones.
    Give it time....they always return.

  5. Believe it or not, I felt more than a twinge of envy reading this. Been a long time since anyone "hated" me or I ruined their lives by making them do homework instead of going out. No one's stolen my makeup or favorite shirt lately or drank out of the milk jug then put back it back in the fridge almost empty. Good times. I'm glad they're over. Most days.

  6. Good to know you have not left the blogging world entirely. I have been out of town and missed your story in Ark. I did go back and read that horror story. You sound like you need a little R&R time just for you and do just nothing but relax. After seeing and hearing how the kids are in this generation, I am glad I do not have any. My son is 61 and over all that. Take care and nice hearing from you-good or bad.

  8. I'll be surprised if my teenagers make it past their current ages, 18 and 14. I'm about to strangle them daily!

  9. Sorry, Georgie. May your kiddos have a moment of clarity and give you big hugs!

  10. I did the same exact thing with the car, except when I was 16. Into a tree. But, you should be proud she got a promotion. And, as far as the talking back thing- we do come back to normal around 19; don't worry. College will make her come crying home to mom and sorry for all the words she's every said :)

  14. I have teens. They are a challenge. But they are rewarding, too (when they don't hate you).

  15. Teens are a trip for sure! First, you have a great looking family. Second, they always have that love/hate thing going on and really I think they are hormonal and don't know how they really feel, most of the time. I have an 18 yr old son, 16 yr old daughter and then my 5.5 yr old daughter who is going on 30 and my 3.5 yr old son who just whines all the time. Calgon Take Me AwAY!

  17. I always get a laugh at your blog! You make me feel normal!! My oldest is in middle school and it is nice to know someone has gone to this frontier a little ahead of me and kept her sense of humor! Thanks for your honesty and your sense of humor!
