Monday Madness

Happy Monday-is that even possible? Well let's pretend it is...

I was a sicko yesterday-guess it was just my turn-the past 2 weeks I have had some form of sickness running rampant with the beans-I thought I could pine-sol it away but it kicked my assa yesterday-no worries you can't catch it from reading my blog...

It is cold and dreary here today and rain is on the horizon-I     rainy days, so I think I will make a 'far' and snuggle in a blankie and read some blogs-who cares if no one has clean underpants or that the dishes are stacked to the ceiling...

Middle bean dropped a 10lb weight on his toe-it is swollen and his big toenail is full of blood-mr gp who is NOT a doctor thought he could drain it with a hunting knife-yes that turned out well-so middle bean is walking around like he rides the short bus and I will prolly get a call from school to go pick him up because he decided to show his classmates and ending up stubbing it hence breaking it open and bleeding every where-BOYS and their battle scars pffft

So it seems that the Confessional Booth was, for lack of better words a 'hit' I was so humbled by many of the confessions-You are amazing and I am glad the confessional booth was able to give you an outlet to say what you needed to say...

Some of you thought it would be a good idea to do this on a regular basis-I wrestled with this idea over the weekend trying to come up with a Happy Medium so what I plan to do is... the first Friday of every month I will open the Confessional Booth and we can purge whats in our hearts, minds and souls...

Jen over at Cheaper Than Therapy made me this cute lil button(TY JEN!) that if you want to share what I am doing you can grab the button and let others know the CB is open-I will add it to my sidebar and hopefully someone will email me with instructions on how to have a code under it so all you will have to do is copy the code to your blog and the pic will be already linked for you...

The next Confessional will be Dec 5th

My confession for today: the CB couldn't have been a success without YOU! Thank You for sharing

  1. I think once a month is a great idea. It gives me another 29 days to sin. ;)

  4. I think the CB is a great idea!! I, too, was in awe of the pain some bloggers have hidden deep. Maybe, just maybe, this will make some kind of difference for them.

Sorry you were sick yesterday. Blah! I think we are all well on our way to being healthy again.

P.S. I like cold rainy days too! But, I don't do fires. I just cuddle up in a blanket on the couch.

  5. Good luck with the toe. Toot did that over the summer and her toe nail still hasn't grown back in yet. That was the third time she has lost that toe nail.

  6. Ewww - on the toe. Once when I was little I dropped a full glass ketchup bottle on my baby toe - it did the same thing.

Hope your snuggly day helps you to feel better!

  11. Oooh the poor bean and his toe! Thankfully he's proud to show it off - too bad he hurt it again doing so. Boys... *sigh*

December 5th is my littlest girl's bday. :-D I'll have to stop by and check out the booth. I found your post/comments facinating.

PS - Your auto-playing music is driving me slightly insane. You should see me scramble to scroll down and pause the player. (I'm listening to my own music on pandora so it's making a funky head throbbing mix) It's quite funny actually :-D

  16. Hah!! I just saw that it was Jennifer Suarez that you were talking about - re: the dang music.

Thanks Jennifer Suarez for complaining - I been trying to make her cut that crap out forever now!! Maybe with an impartial person complaining (*wink *wink - she doesn't have to know I put you up to it), the music player will bite the dust.
But I'm not holding my breath...

  20. It is so nice to read some other blogs with boys. It makes me feel normal. My son would have used a hunting knife, too. He also thought he didn't need a cast on his broken arm and picked it off. I have to many stories of boy things :) I'll save you.
