I ♥ the 80s

Abby made that lil collage up there for me-while I love it-it makes me feel old, I was 23 in those pix and 23 feels like a long long long time ago and it does nothing to help me with the fact that the beanies are growing up. But I am not gonna whine about it anymore cuz then ya'll would hafta start bringing cheese with you to my blog...

So I was watching VH1s one hit wonders of the 80s and saw they have Micheal Damien's Rock On listed and any Y&R fan clearly knows he is not a OHW!  He had a booming music career on that soap.

  2. The 80's really was a good era..in a lets not do that again kind of way. I totally remember 90% of your list!

  3. I hadn't thought of the garbage pail kids in forever. Those little dudes were in need of a good hygeine lesson!

  4. I remember all of them...and I grew up in the 70's, go figure!
Love a good Jem and the Holograms reference. Made my day.

  5. lol @ Mepos! I know all these, but am really a 70's gal ;-)

  6. Oh yeah, I loved the 80's. I was 21 in 1982....needless to say I partied my way through an entire decade.

Come see my new blog layout!!!

  7. Punky Brewster is still the shit!! I follow her on twitter!! She is adorable and sweet to this day.

  8. Great list! I was born in the 80s but I do remember some of that stuff! I think it's so much fun to go back and remember the things that everyone liked when we were little. I loved VH1s I Love the 80s and 90s series.

  9. I was a kid in the 80's.... But to me the 90's were the best.. Great post!

  10. #93 made me laugh OUTLOUD!

Here's what's really creepy... some of this I remember from my childhood, and some I remember from my daughters.

  11. Sweet Pickles - aw.

And it's just pretty sad that I'm really too old for half of this list.

No snorks, Gem or Punky Brewster - I was already in high school and WAY too cool ;-).

    But Sweet Pickles still rock.

  12. I'm still stuck in the 80s in most every way. :)

  13. 1. These were a lot of fun…go back to memory lane.

Instead of calling the little ones "punks" when they act up, I call them Punky Brewster. It sounds cuter and I love the name. If I have another kid, that's what her name will be. That or Pippy Longstocking. It's a toss up.
